- Description:
-
- The Kasoft AddressDevice module provides a filing system "address" which
- allows blocks of memory treated as files. The filing system behaves like a
- system device in many respects.
-
- The filing system special field (introduced by a "#" symbol after the filing
- system name) gives the address of the memory containing the file block. The
- address field is parsed by OS_ReadUnsigned with base 16 (hexadecimal) assumed.
-
- Filenames on "address" are ignored, and usually null filenames are used. The
- behaviour of "address" is like that of a file with no name, so that
- "address#8000:" and "address#9000:" are different files, even though they
- share the same (null) filename.
